Adversary Not In Control Over Rendering

Previously we learned how the Adversary utilizes
'unceasing strokes against humanity' to achieve
world domination. The key was Strong's H4347
"makkah" = wound, slaughter, plague, beaten,
stripes, stroke, blow, smote, sores, wounded,
scourging [reference Isaiah 14:6]. Were these
actions by the Adversary used against The
Promised One?

We read in Isaiah how The Messiah would take
our punishments. However, Isaiah 53 did not use
H4347 at all. Instead, Christ was 'smitten by God'
which is Strong's H5221 (verb) - to strike, smite,
hit, beat, slay or to be smitten.

Isaiah 53:4    ESV
"Surely he has borne our
griefs and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted."

The Adversary was not in control of putting to
death The Savior. Instead, the LORD GOD was
the One who was pleased to crush Our Lord
according to His Plan of Mercy and Grace.

Isaiah 53:10    NASB
"But the LORD was pleased
To crush Him, putting Him
to grief; If He would render
Himself as a guilt offering,
He will see His offspring,
He will prolong His days,
And the good pleasure of
the LORD will prosper in
His hand."

The choice to submit Himself to His Heavenly
Father was always under the control of our
LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ. The prayers
in the Garden, where He sweated great drops of
blood, was His time to resolve all 'rendering'
issues to become the perfect Guilt Offering.

The suffering and death was always His choice
and totally under the commanding charge He
had received directly from His Heavenly Father.

John 10:18    ESV
"No one takes it from me, but I
lay it down of my own accord. I
have authority to lay it down,
and I have authority to take it
up again. This charge I have
received from my Father.”

This means the devil did not take charge over the
crucification. Nor did the Adversary take command
over these situations.

Hebrews 2:14    NASB
"Therefore, since the children share
in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise
also partook of the same, that through
death He might render powerless him
who had the power of death, that is,
the devil ..."

The devil still has the power of death even
today as he seeks to steal, lie, kill and destroy
us and lead us into eternal destruction.

Luke 4:6    NASB
"And the devil said to Him, “I will give You
all this domain and its glory; for it has been
handed over to me, and I give it to whomever
I wish."

However, for all those who believe, the Son
of God offers to us His salvation having borne
our sins, thereby having rendered the devil
powerless over our second death.

Revelation 2:11    NASB
‘He who has an ear, let him hear what
the Spirit says to the churches. He who
overcomes will not be hurt by the second
death.'

When we believe, we have been made clean in
our conscience, we are no longer held captive
and oppressed by the devil. Nevertheless, the
same temptations are still continuing to this day.

1st John 2:16    NASB
"For all that is in the world, the
lust of the flesh and the lust of
the eyes and the boastful pride
of life, is not from the Father,
but is from the world."

This, then, is the way Jesus was smitten by God:
a) H2490 = chalal =  wounded
(verb) to profane, defile, pollute, desecrate, make common, violate

b) H1792 = daka' = bruised
(verb) to crush, be crushed, be contrite, be broken, be shattered,
to break in(to) pieces

c) H2250 = chabbuwrah = stripes
bruise, stripe, wound, blow (the mark of strokes on skin)

Unceasing Strokes Against Humanity

Isaiah 14:6  NASB
Which used to strike the peoples
in fury with unceasing strokes,
Which subdued the nations in
anger with unrestrained persecution.

"with unceasing strokes"
H1115 - Biltiy = not, except (after preceding negation)
so as not, in order not, anccount of not, until not;
but, except, nothing, lest, inasmuch, not
H5627 - Carah = apostasy, defection, turning aside,
withddrawal; turn away
H4347 - Makkah = wound, slaughter, plague, beaten,
stripes, stroke, blow, smote, sores, wounded

Isaiah 14:6 KJV
He who smote the people in wrath
with a continual stroke, he that
ruled the nations in anger, is
persecuted, and none hindereth.

Strong's Lexicon 12 Hebrew Words:
H5221 - nakah = to strike, smite, hit beat, kill, slay
H5971 - 'am = nation, people, kinsman, kindred, men
H5678 - 'ebrah = outpouring, overflow, excess, fury,
wrath, arrogance, outburst, rage, anger
H1115 - biltiy = not, except (after preceding negation)
H5627 - carah = apostasy, defection, turning aside,
withdrawal, turn away
H4347 - makkah = wound, slaughter, plague, beaten,
stripes, stroke, blow, smote, sores, wounded
H7287 - radah = to rule, have dominion, to dominate,
to tread down or subjugate, reign, ruler, prevaileth
H1471 - gowy = nation, people, heathen, gentiles
H639 - 'aph = nostrils, nose, face, snout; countenance,
forebearing; anger, wrath
H4783 - murdaph = persecution (only used in 1 verse)
H1097 - beliy = wearing out, without, no, not, so that no
H2820 - chasak = to withhold, restrain, hold back, keep
in check, refrain, spare, reserve

Marin Transliteration:
To strike men overflowing, not turning aside, to kill,
slaughter, wound prevailing domination [by] persecuting
nations without [ever] wearing out, without restraining,
without sparing [their] countenance.

There is no mercy or grace in the Adversary, the enemy
of our souls. He is ruthless and seeks to steal, kill and
destroy the very breath of God from our nostrils. He is
totally committed, and works without ceasing, his rage
and wrath against all humanity.

Victory Over Beast

I noticed in Rev 15:2 how there are
identified those who overcame and
got the victory:
(1) victory over the beast
(2) victory over image of the beast
(3) victory over mark of the beast
(4) victory over name-number of the beast
Rev 15:2 KJV
And I saw as it were a sea of glass
mingled with fire: and them that
had gotten the victory over the beast
and over his image, and over his
mark, [and] over the number of
his name, stand on the sea of glass
having the harps of God.

How are believers victorious?
By faith, we received Christ's:
(1) victory over the beast thru
forgiveness as He freee us from
sin and (2nd) death
(2) victory over image as He
provides new name/image when
we were born again from above
(3) victory over mark/stains as
He gave us the Holy Spirit to
will and to work His word in us
(4) victory of name-number as we
are in His Sabbath Rest of 7th Day
eternal life that can not be counted
by the beast
1st Cor 15:57 KJV
But thanks [be] to God, which
giveth us the victory through
our Lord Jesus Christ.

Done All To Stand / Standing Firm

Ephesians 6:13-15
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God
that you may be able to withstand [G436]
in the evil day; and having done all to stand
firm [G2476], stand [G2476] therefore,
having fastened on the belt of truth, and
having put on the breastplate of righteousness
and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the
readiness given by the gospel of peace.
"

Strong's G436 - Ant-histemi = to withstand, resist
Strong's G2476 - Histemi = to stand firm, establish

Colossians 4:12    KJV
"Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of
Christ, saluteth you, always labouring
fervently for you in prayers, that ye may
stand [G2476] perfect and complete in all
the will of God.
"

What can we learn from these two verses
and their emphasis on Standing Firm?

Each believer needs to
withstand and resist
which will lead to the
establishment of
standing firm.

First, identify what's holding you back, keeping
you down, devouring your fruitfulness in daily life.
This is the time to question everything, research
and prepare your the coming storm of evil.
(belt of TRUTH) - keep it fastened, not loose.

Next, carefully consider your choices, your
options, your own heart in terms of eliminating
those things that are holding you back. What
does your life look like as you take these things
(or relationships) out of your daily life? Can you
live your life without them? Are you sure? Really?
Can you live your life fighting against them?
(breastplate [armor] of RIGHTEOUSNESS)

Finally, prayerfully, emotionally, mentally,
willfully, with all your strength, with all your
might, with all your will and determination,
KICK those things out of your daily life and
don't even look back! Keep your feet walking
and stay positive while you go through the
natural withdrawal and seductive-type doubts
that always infiltrate a psyche determined to
'clean-house' thoroughly!
(peace-keeping shoes to walk the JOURNEY)

Remember, you're not alone in this walk, it's
by invitation and you're invited to fulfill the
joy of the One Who Reigns Overcoming.

Anointing With Overcoming

The Word of God most certainly does
reveal in scriptures how a believer has
both the authority and experiences that
matches our phrase, 'slain-in-the-spirit.'

It is the desire of the LORD to exalt the
'horn of His anointed' by raising up His
standard in His chosen ones. It is this
anointing in the Spirit that we can receive
the heavenly witness from above.

Hebrews 1:9
Thou hast loved righteousness, and
hated iniquity; therefore God, even
thy God, hath anointed thee with
the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Ok, now, let's connect the ministry of the
Spirit to provide His anointing with the
power to 'overcome' by our faith.

Please turn to the English word, 'overcome'
for a moment. It is found in 8 lexicon words
for KJV of which 5 are from OT and 3 are
from NT. I've picked one OT and one NT.

1) OT: Strong's H7292 - rahab = make sure,
behave boisterously, overcome, strengthen

Psalm 138:3
In the day when I cried
thou answeredst me, and
strengthenedst [H7292]
me with strength in my
soul.

This is David's cry in the wilderness when
all his adversaries sought to destroy him.

2) NT: Strong's G3528 - nikao = conquer,
prevail, get the victory, overcome, carry
off the victory, victorious over all foes, to
win the case, to maintain one's cause

1st John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have
overcome [G3528] them: because greater
is he that is in you, than he that is in
the world.

1st John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh
[G3528] the world: and this is the victory
[G3528] that overcometh [G3528] the world,
even our faith.

The 'slain-in-the-spirit' is the manifestation
of His holy witness that a child of His has
cried out for strength and sought the victory
in Jesus Christ. We all recognize that it is
only from Him who sits on the throne, next
to the right hand of God, who is the provider
of this unique overcoming anointing.

Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh [G3528], the same
shall be clothed in white raiment; and
I will not blot out his name out of the
book of life, but I will confess his name
before my Father, and before his angels.

Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh [G3528] will I make
a pillar in the temple of my God, and he
shall go no more out; and I will write upon
him the name of my God, and the name of
the city of my God which is new Jerusalem,
which cometh down out of heaven from my
God: and I will write upon him my new
name.

Who among us has received from Him this
anointing that abides in their soul? It is a
witness that teaches of all things and is the
truth and is not a lie.

1st John 2:27
But the anointing which ye have received
of him abideth in you, and ye need not that
any man teach you: but as the same anointing
teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and
is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye
shall abide in him.

Would that all Christians were filled, anointed
and blessed with His overcoming victory! May
you discover your oil-of-gladness as strength
that's coming down from above, integrated and
connected together to pour forth overflowing
into your soul.

Wise (vs) Foolish Building Foundations

There are 47 verses in the KJV concordance that have
both words of 'wise' and 'fool*' listed together in them.

However, there is just one parable that Jesus provided
where He compared and contrasted the differences
between those people who followed His words and
those people who did not follow His words.

The external forces were identical between the Wise Man
and the Foolish Man. The only difference between the two
was how they either followed or did not follow His words.

Obeying the words of Jesus creates a firm foundation.
Disregarding the words of Jesus creates variable foundation.
Jesus first spoke about the Wise Man who heard and obeyed:

Matthew 7:25    KJV
And the rain descended, and the floods came,
and the winds blew, and beat upon that house;
and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Jesus then spoke about the Foolish Man who heard but
then built his house on sand.

Matthew 7:27    KJV
And the rain descended, and the floods came,
and the winds blew, and beat upon that house;
and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Sand symbolically represents the Nations or the Peoples
of the world. Sand has not permanent cement that makes
it structurally sound. It remains separate, individual grains
that associate together and can be shaped by pressures which
hold it temporarily in place as long as there is no force acting
on it. Sand will easily crumble and break down into its
component pieces whenever forces are acting against it.

The cross of Christ is a dividing line marking out those
who hear and follow versus those who hear and don't follow.

The line drawn is not in the Sand of the Nations, but in the
hearts and minds of those who are obedient to His words.

+++++
The rain and flood used by Jesus reminded me of the deluge
of the Flood from Noah's day. There were 8 souls saved
due to the righteousness of Father Noah. Noah obeyed
and he had the firm foundation to weather the storms of
His generation. The 'great fall' that Jesus spoke about was
the wrath of God upon the Nations (ie, Sand-People)
exactly like Noah's generation. Sand-People always turn
to their peers for connections instead of obeying the Word.

Pre-Determined Rejection Via Mocking

Christ was mocked throughout the painful process
of offering Himself up as a Sacrificial Lamb of God.

Matthew 27:29, 31, 41
And when they had platted a crown of thorns
they put [it] upon his head, and a reed in his
right hand: and they bowed the knee before
him, and mocked him, saying, 'Hail , King
of the Jews!' [v31] And after that they had
mocked him, they took the robe off from him
and put his own raiment on him, and led him
away to crucify [him]. [v41] Likewise also the
chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes
and elders said ....

Wickedness will toss aside, in an orderly systematic
process, to make light of it so as to arrange for social
mocking, outright rejection with a complete disregard
for the substance of things not-seen.

Those who set their carnal mind on things on earthly
matters will concentrate all of their own reveling to
promote themselves all the while rejecting and reviling
any hint of heavenly authority. Those who trample
upon heavenly wisdom will mock and scoff against it.

Jude 1:8    NIV
In the very same way, on the strength of
their dreams these ungodly people pollute
their own bodies, reject authority and
heap abuse on celestial beings.

In the OT, there are two action verbs that combine:
Arak (+) Calah = H6186 + H5541

These two action verbs combine as a message:
"To arrange an evaluation not to be valued."
"Ordained to be rejected"
"Arrangements to be tossed aside"
"Set in an orderly place to become weighed down"

This suggests a forethought for a planned dismissal.

This rejection was decided upon before any evaluation
was made. This type of trampling down under foot was
pre-meditated. No matter how good, how righteous, how
eager to humble one's heart, the verdict was previously
already decided upon. The ruling class has already made
up its mind in the matter.

This hostile mindset is expressed as mocking or scoffing.
It is received as reproaches.

Suffering Reproaches
Psalm 69:20
Reproach hath broken my heart;
and I am full of heaviness: and
I looked [for some] to take pity
but [there was] none; and for
comforters, but I found none.

Psalm 71:13
Let them be confounded [and]
consumed that are adversaries
to my soul; let them be covered
[with] reproach and dishonour
that seek my hurt.

Psalm 74:22
Arise, O God, plead thine own
cause: remember how the foolish
man reproacheth thee daily.

Declarative Words Are Not Personal Narratives

I read how the LORD promised destruction via the Flood.

Genesis 7:4    KJV
For yet seven days, and I will cause it
to rain upon the earth forty days and
forty nights; and every living substance
that I have made will I destroy from off
the face of the earth.

I love to dig deeper to look at the Hebrew words. Again, my
apologies to those who have learned the language. I piece
the words together and then compare and contrast.

For instance, the KJV has: 'that I have made' = Strong's
H6213 - Asah (verb) = to do, fashion, accomplish, make,
produce, to observe, to bring about; to labor, to work about
(anything); to press, to squeeze

I noticed how the single word, ASAH is used to create a phrase
that create a type of personal pronoun narrative as though it
was expressing a person's speech. The phrase, 'I have made'
seems quite a bit different than the Strong's definition of this
Hebrew word. This is why contextual and cultural connections
provide additional layers of meaning.

Here are the 16 Hebrew words in Gen 7:4
(1) H5750 - Owd (adverb) = a going round, continuance, still, yet,
again, moreover, besides, since, good while, going over again
(2) H7651 - Sheba (noun) = seven, sevenfold
(3) H3117 - Yowm (noun) = day, time, year, time period (temporal)
(4) H4305 - Matar (verb) = to be rained on, to rain
(5) H776 - Erets (noun) = land, earth, whole earth
(6) H705 - Arba-iym - 40
(7) H3117 - Yowm (noun) = day, time, year, time period (temporal)
(8) H705 - Arba-iym - 40
(9) H3915 - Layil (noun) = night(s), midnight, (fig., of gloom, calamity)
(10) H3605 - Kol (noun) = all, the whole, everything, totality, every
(11) H3351 - Yequwm (noun) = living substance, every living existence
(12) H6213 - Asah (verb) = to do, fashion, accomplish, to make, act,
action with effect, perform, execute, wrought, accomplish, produce,
to observe, to bring about; to labor, to work about (anything); to press,
to squeeze
(13) H4229 - Machah (verb) = to wipe out, blot out, obliterate,
exterminate, abolish, utterly destroy, wipe away
(14) H5921 - Al (conjunction) = concerning, on behalf of, beyond, above,
over (of excess or elevation), together with, according to, in addition to
(15) H6440 - Paniym (noun) = face(s), presence, countenance
(16) H127 - Adamah (noun) = ground, land, specific piece or plot of land,
whole earth; by implication - the whole planet

Marin Transliteration:
Going over again seven times raining on the whole earth
40 days 40 nights totally all of every living substance to
bring about the blotting out, obliteration [in] utterly
destroying [by] wiping out [in] excess over the face of
the whole planet.

+++++++++++++
NOTE: Strong's H705 - Arba-iym = 40 has root meaning
from H702 = ARBA = four-fold
See previous blog at:
http://pmview2deep.blogspot.com/2011/01/names-arba-his-giant-children-1-11-2011.html
Arba = H704 = arbah; fourth, or four-fold,
father of Anak & greatest of the giants

Fulfilment Of Sourced Design Without Respect

a) Original Design Of Man:
Gen 2:5 "... not a man to till the ground."

b) Original Source Of Man:
Gen 3:23 "... to till the ground from whence he was taken."

c) Original Fulfilment Of Man's Sourced Design:
Gen 4:2 "... but Cain was a tiller of the ground."

Cain fulfilled the original sourced design. He was
the first and finest completed fulfilment in all of
the Earth within the first recorded family. Cain
was the first to bring his offering to the LORD.

Cain's offering 'had not respect' but we were not
told why his was not acceptable except by contrast
to his younger brother's offering of a sheep-sacrifice
with the 'fat thereof' by Abel. Why, therefore, was
Cain's offering not acceptable? Cain was very wroth
and his countenance fell.

What Are Palm Trees In The Temple Of Solomon?

Years ago, I purchased and read all three books in the
biblical trilogy series about the hidden symbols found
in the tabernacle of Moses, the tents of David and the
temple of Solomon. I looked up the palm tree analysis
that was from the author, Mr. Conner.

+++++++++++
The Temple of Solomon (book # 3): by Kevin J. Conner
Bible Temple Publishing; Portland, Oregon 97213
ISBN-10: 0914936964; First Edition 1988

+++++++++++
Chapter: 16 - Building the Temple of the LORD
(pages 67 through 80)

Excerpt page 74:
"Trees, therefore, in the Temple represent believers
in Christ, different in nature to stones, yet all shaped
to be part of His habitation. Variety of trees speak of
variety of God's people, yet all one in Christ become
part of the house of the LORD."

1. The Cedar Tree ~ Christ's incorruptible humanity & kingship
2. The Fir Tree ~ Christ's power and strength to uphold (all things)
3. The Algum (red sandalwood) ~ Christ's cross atoning death, His blood
4. The Palm Tree ~ Christ the upright One, resurrection and new life
5. The Olive Tree ~ Christ the anointed One, the Messiah, Living Word

Excerpt page 76:
"Each of these trees speak of Christ and the believers. The
trees were cut off from their natural surroundings, the
former source of life in the earth. All their natural beauty
was stripped from them. Then, they were sawn up, shaped
and planed. They all experienced death to their 'old life.'
After this, they go through the process of preparation by
the hands of the carpenters in order to find their place in
the house of the LORD, to partake of His glory. They were
clothed with unnatural beauty and fitly framed together
(Ephesians 2:19-22). Christ is the Master carpenter when
it comes to His work in the believers. He shapes us for His
building. Every part of the Temple speaks of His glory or
His glory in the saints. The preparation speaks of the
dealings of the LORD in the lives of His people."

+++++++++++
4. The Palm Tree
The palm tree was actually carved into the cedar wood where
ever it was used in the Temple. The following scriptures give
us the overlay of symbolic and significant meanings.

(a) Psalm 92:12-13 ~ the righteous shall flourish
(b) Exodus 15:27 ~ 12 wells of water & 70 palm trees are types
of 12 apostles and the 70 who were sent out by Jesus for healing
ministry (Luke 9:1; 10:1-2)
(c) Nehemiah 8:15 & Leviticus 23:40 ~ palm branches used in
the wave-celebration for rejoicing in the Feast of Tabernacles
(d) Revelation 7:9 ~ wave-celebration before Throne of GOD and
the LAMB for triumphant redeemed victory

The ornamentation of the palm tree was used very much in the
Temple. It was carved on the lavers in the Temple courts. It was
carved on the walls of the Temple, in the Holy Place and the
Holiest of ALL. Also, the doors of the Sanctuary were ornamented
with the palm tree. This tree was most prominent in the Temple
of the LORD.

1 Kings 6:29, 32, 35   NASB
Then he carved all the walls of the house
round about with carved engravings of
cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers,
inner and outer sanctuaries. [v32] So he
made two doors of olive wood, and he carved
on them carvings of cherubim, palm trees,
and open flowers, and overlaid them with
gold; and he spread the gold on the cherubim
and on the palm trees. [v35] He carved on it
cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers; and
he overlaid them with gold evenly applied on
the engraved work.

See Page 81 for a drawn picture of what these folding doors
may have looked like in the Temple of Solomon.

Excerpt page 77: The Ornamentation of the Boards

The cedar boards are now carved and wrought and
outworked in them ornamentation and beatifications.

They had lost their natural beauty but would now
have the beauty of the LORD upon them. These were
the trees of righteousness, of the LORD's planting and
they were given beauty for ashes of mourning. It speaks
of Christ and His people who have lost their natural
earthy nature but now received a spiritual beauty
inscribed upon them in their hearts which is precious
to the LORD.

The Palm Tree - speaks of Christ the upright One, the
righteous One, the victorious One in His own person
and that which is manifested in His saints from the
resurrection unto His glory.

The early church used the palm tree as a symbol of
Christ's triumph over death through resurrection, as
also the Christians who were martyred. The bride of
Christ is likened in stature to the palm tree in Song
of Solomon ~ see chapter 7 verse 7.

A. The Doors into the Sanctuary, the Holy Place
1. Made of Fir Tree
2. Two Side Posts Made of Olive Tree
3. A Fourth Part of the Wall
4. Folding Two-Leaved Doors
5. Ornamentation of the Doors
5a) Open Flowers
5b) Palm Trees ~ righteousness of Christ as the perfect/upright One
5c) Cherubims
6. Doors overlaid with Gold
7. Gold Hinges

B. The Doors into the Oracle, the Holiest of ALL
1. Made of Olive Tree
2. The Lintel and Two Side Posts of Olive Tree
3. Lintel and Side Posts - A Fifth Part of the Wall
4. Folding Two-Leaved Doors
5. Ornamentation of the Doors
5a) Open Flowers
5b) Palm Trees ~ righteousness of Christ
5c) Cherubims
6. Doors overlaid with Gold
7. Hinges of Gold
8. Golden Nails for the Temple

Note (page 85) In 1st Chronicles 22:3 we have iron nails
for the courts, but for the Sanctuary proper there were
the golden nails, with the Temple containing His Divine,
Eternal Life fastened and made more sure which are
steadfast for believers

9. Chains of Gold before the Oracle

Palm Branches were also used as a symbolic meaning
for the head of nations.

Isaiah 9:14    NASB
So the LORD cuts off head and tail from Israel,
Both palm branch and bulrush in a single day.

Isaiah 19:15    NASB
There will be no work for Egypt,
Which its head or tail, its palm
branch or bulrush, may do.

Caught Up / Snatched Out Away

The same Greek word is used in 2nd Corinthians 12:4
and 1st Thessalonians 4:17 describing how believers
were 'caught up' into Paradise or into the clouds to
meet the LORD.

Strong's G726 - Harpazo (verb) = to seize, carry off by
force, to seize on, claim for one's self eagerly; to snatch
out or away; catch away, pluck, pull, take by force,
catch up

Imagine my shock when I looked and saw how the
wicked were described with this same Greek word,
'harpazo.'

Matthew 13:19
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom,
and understands [it] not, then comes the
wicked to catch away [G726] that which was
sown in his heart. This is he which received
seed by the wayside.

The same 'caught up' or 'snatched away' of the Rapture
is also used to describe how the sown seed word is taken
or pulled out by force from a person's inner heart!

Both the Wicked and the LORD Jesus utilize this
action. The Wicked attempts to snatch the seed sown
each and every time a potential salvation event is
near with a person's heart. The LORD promises to
those Wise Virgins who have oil in their lamps His
Rapture into the Heavenly Feast afterwards the
Wedding Door is shut closed.

In that sense, the Wicked have multiple caught-ups
that so quickly entangle the hearts and minds of those
close to becoming saved.

Deny Fallen Faults Of The Soul

What does it mean to 'deny' one's self as a believer?
In order the approach this question, I would begin
by framing the overall picture of the soul as a complex
city filled with contradictions.

Bad/Good
Evil/Righteous
Ungodly/Godly
Reviling/Rejoicing

Soul's complex nature is like a house divided, a
mansion with many rooms, a place of different
levels with zoned areas. The soul connects both
to the carnal as well as with the spiritual. This
is the dual nature, like twins wrestling inside.

A prime illustration of this dual nature that has
been wrestling within an internal war is found
in the story about Jacob renamed as Israel. See:
Genesis 32:21-31.

The internal conflicts within the soul begins to
find resolution when we can accurately name those
fragmentary parts of our lives. It takes faith and
courage to move away from our comfort zones to
tear down defensive walls and enter into the tension
filled places. When we no longer have hidden parts
secretly betraying us we can learn how to entrust
our soul into the hands of the LORD and Master.

Strong's G720 - Arneomai (verb) = to deny, deny
one's self, to disregard his own interests or to prove
false to himself, to act entirely unlike himself, to
abnegate, to abjure, to not accept, to reject, to
refuse something offered

I believe the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ
provides a safe place that gives hope, strength and
the spiritual power to break free of the obstacles that
bind us to hidden dark divisions. It is in this light
we become like innocent children having our fallen
faults forgiven, receiving heavenly blessings of His
renewal and eventual redemption from above.

Titus 2:11-12    KJV
For the grace of God that brings salvation has
appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present
world; looking for that blessed hope, and the
glorious appearing of the great God and our
Saviour Jesus Christ;

Lightly Tossed Aside For Rejection

The 28th chapter in Job speaks about wisdom. This
sort of heavenly wisdom is not readily available but
remains quite rare and very precious.

Job 28:19   KJV
The topaz of Ethiopia shall
not equal it, neither shall it
be valued with pure gold.

1) H6357 - pitdah = the topaz (or chrysolite)
a precious stone
2) H3568 - Kuwsh = Ethiopia; Cush; the geographical
location found in the southern parts of Nile
3) H6186 - arak (verb) = shall not equal; to arrange,
put or lay in order; set in array; ordain, esteem, set
forth, set in place (ie, joined [together]); by impl.
'to make an evaluation' according to orderly sets of
place-values
4) H5541 - calah (verb) = neither shall it be valued;
to make light of, toss aside, to flout, to reject; to weigh,
balance; to be weighed; KJV: trodden down, trodden under
foot
5) H2889 - tahowr = with pure; clean, pure, fair
6) H3800 - kethem = gold; pure gold, [re-]fine(d) gold

Marin transliteration:
Cush's topaz sets forth as an arrangement to
be made light of thereby becoming tossed aside
rejection [for] pure refined gold
.

+++++++++++++
KJV provides English phrases of 'trodden down' and
'trodden under foot' as their equivalent definition to
the Hebrew verb, 'calah' which is Strong's H5541.

The action of dismissing and discounting heavenly
wisdom is a form of trampling down under foot.

Responses from worldly-ones, who oppose and become
very aggresive against this holy wisdom, has been found
in the combination of two Hebrew words:

arak + calah = H6186 + H5541
ordained to be rejected; arranged to be tossed aside;
set in an orderly place to become weighed down

In principle, the deeper the wisdom, the greater the opposition.
The purer the understanding, more confusion generated against it.
The clearer the revelation in the spirit, the more forceful outrage.

How then does the habitual response become manifested against
the wisdom from above? I believe the standard recoiling in total
opposition starts from a dismissive attitude, a quiet rebuttal of
hostile dis-interest that tosses aside in order to systematically
make light of so as to arrange for social mocking, outright rejection
and complete disregard of the substance of things not-seen because
wisdom reveals the hidden parts into the light of understanding.

Matthew 13:19
When any one hears the word of the kingdom,
and understandeth [it] not, then comes the
wicked to catch away that which was sown
in his heart. This is he which received seed
by the way side

A Little Space Of Grace

Ezra 9:8    KJV
And now for a little space grace hath
been shewed from the LORD our God,
to leave us a remnant to escape, and
to give us a nail in his holy place, that
our God may lighten our eyes, and give
us a little reviving in our bondage.

There are 18 Hebrew words listed in Strongs
for Ezra 9:8. I liked the phrase, 'little space
grace' and it was unique in the KJV.
Strong's Hebrew Word = English Meaning(s)
1) h4592 - And now for a little - meh`at = small, little, few
2) h7281 - space - reyach = scent, fragrance, soothing odour
3) h8467 - grace - techinnah = favour, supplication, grace, prayer, petition
4) h3068 - hath been [shewed] from the LORD - Yehovah
5) h430 - our God - 'elohiym
6) h7604 - to leave - sha'ar = to remain, left over/behind, survive, remnant
7) h6413 - us a remnant to escape - peleytah = escape, deliverance, remnant
8) h5414 - and to give - nathan = to give, put, set, bestow, grant, ascribe, lend
9) h3489 - us a nail - yathed = pen, (tent-)stake, peg, nail
10) h6944 - in his holy - qodesh = apartness, sacredness, holiness, set-apart
11) h4725 - place - maqowm = standing place, station, post, spot, region, room
12) h430 - that our God - 'elohiym
13) h215 - may lighten - 'owr = to become light, shine, illuminated, enlighten
14) h5869 - our eyes - `ayin = eye, (fig.) showing mental and spiritual qualities
15) h5414 - and give - nathan = to give, put, set, bestow, grant, ascribe, lend
16) h4592 - us a little - meh`at = small, little, few
17) h4241 - reviving - michyah = preservation of life, sustenance, reviving
18) h5659 - in our bondage - `abduwth = servitude, bondage
Marin Transliteration:
Little soothing-scent supplication to Yahovah Elohiym
as surviving remnants to bestow the nailed sacred place
from Elohiym to enlighten [our] eye and grant [us] small
sustaining-reviving life [in our] servitude bondage

Twins Entwined

I am fascinated and drawn to the complexity hidden
inside the meanings of names and their family of
origin's relationships.

There are two sets of twins that have been used as
examples in the Old Testament.

1.) Isaac & Rebekah had twins: Esau and Jacob

Genesis 25:25    KJV
And the first came out red, all over like
an hairy garment; and they called his
name Esau. [v26] And after that came
his brother out, and his hand took hold
on Esau's heel; and his name was called
Jacob: and Isaac [was] threescore (60)
years old when she bare them.

Esau was first, all red, earthy, natural, hairy, murderous
Jacob was second, fallen-flaw for grabbing, liar, deal-maker

Romans 9:13    NASB
Just as it is written,
"Jacob I loved,
But, Esau I hated."

Jacob had fallen-flaws of character seeking to find any
shortcut to come in first place. He worked to marry two
wives with their two servant handmaidens, fathered
twelve children and had a career troubled in his work
with employment to his mother's brother (his uncle)
where his compensation package was cheated him
ten (10) times.

2.) Judah & Tamar had twins: Pharez and Zarah
[ref: Genesis 38:27]

(a) Pharez = Strongs H6557 - Perez = breach; twin brother of
Zerah; son of Judah & Tamar; descendants called Pharzites;
a dispersion (of enemies, or slaughter); an irruption, invasion,
violence, a diffusion (of water)
and
(b) Zerah = Strongs H2226 - Zerach = rising, twin brother of
Pharez; son of Judah & Tamar; descendants called Zarhites;

Genesis 38:29-30
And it came to pass, as he (Zerah) drew back
his hand, that, behold, his brother came out:
and she said, 'How hast thou broken forth?
[this] breach [be] upon thee': therefore, his
name was called Pharez. [v30] And afterward
came out his brother, that had the scarlet
thread upon his hand: and his name was
called Zarah.

Twin(s), twined or entwined
Strongs H8380 - Ta'owm = twins - only used as a plural
Strongs H8382 - Ta'am = coupled together, bear twin, doubled

The second born was identified with a scarlet thread that
foreshadowed his symbolic role as the one who will bring
forth light, brightness of resurrection in rising up from the
dead.

Isaiah 60:3
"Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of
your rising [zerach]."

Adam was the first created Man as a living, breathing soul.
Christ was the second Man who was the source of life-giving
spirit. Jesus Christ breathed on his disciples in the upper
room.

Esau was the first born who was natural, despising birth right.
Jacob became Israel after wrestling against his fallen-fault in
God's love, acceptance and forgiveness.

Pharez broke through his mother's belly breach as first
born for the lineage from Adam to Christ. Zerah was the
promised brightness of rising light in the dawn of His
servant suffering. It is this hidden part we partake in
the rising up into the brightness of Christ's light that
has entwined all of us who are born again into His
new, second abundant life.

1st Corinthians 14:46
Yet that was not first which is spiritual,
but that which is natural; afterwards
that which is spiritual.

what is lust?

1st John 2:16    NASB
For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh and the
lust of the eyes and the boastful
pride of life, is not from the
Father, but is from the world.

Lust is not from Above, but from
the interactions with our lower nature
as a part of the world-travel we all
share in living our daily lives.

What ways will our lust find to be
connected with the world? The verse
states our lust begins with the carnal
flesh and moves up to the visual,
namely what we see, or view.

E.B.White quoted in "Removal" (July 1938):
(1) I believe television is going to be the
test of the modern world, and that in this
new opportunity to see beyond the range
of our vision we shall discover either a
new and unbearable disturbance of the
general peace or a saving radiance in the
sky. We shall stand or fall by television
— of that I am quite sure.

(2) Television will enormously enlarge the
eye's range, and, like radio, will advertise
the Elsewhere. Together with the tabs, the
mags, and the movies, it will insist that
we forget the primary and the near in favor
of the secondary and the remote.
LINK: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/E._B._White

Edward R. Murrow (April 25, 1908 – April 27, 1965)
coined the phrase, "the unblinking eye" of television.

I believe the quotations from 1938 and 1950's
can equally be applied to the Internet for today.

What is our 'inner eye' looking at? How are we
focusing our vision?

My own definition of lust:

Lust is nothing more than desire
to possess, capture, retain, retrieve
and resonate so as to provide us
ownership control for the benefit
of ourselves.

Matthew 6:22-23    NASB
"The eye is the lamp of the body;
so then if your eye is clear, your
whole body will be full of light.
[v23] "But if your eye is bad, your
whole body will be full of darkness.
If then the light that is in you is
darkness, how great is the darkness!

May our vision be clear, our eye full
of light and our whole body filled
with the fullness of His Great Love.
I hope and pray our inner eye will
overcome the lust from our body
and eyes.

Colosians 2:11, 13-14    NKJV

forgiven you all trespasses,

to us. And He has taken it out of the way,
having nailed it to the cross.

Thick-Felt-Darkness

Exodus 10:21-22    KJV
And the LORD said unto Moses,
'Stretch out thine hand toward heaven,
that there may be darkness over the
land of Egypt, even darkness [which]
may be felt.' [22] And Moses stretched
forth his hand toward heaven; and
there was a thick darkness in all the
land of Egypt three days.

The term 'thick-felt-darkness' might have been capable
of blanketing out all light from all man-made fire, such
as wood burning, candles, torches, oil lamps. In other
words, there was a total and complete blackout making
all visibility null and void for the entire land of Egypt
for THREE WHOLE DAYS.
This event reminds me of the New Testament record for
darkness that covered all of Israel when Christ was he
was suffering as having nailed sin to the cross to pay
for our debts to God.
Mark 15:33
And when the sixth hour was come,
there was darkness over the whole
land until the ninth hour.

The 6th hour = Noon; the 9th hour = 3 pm afternoon.
Darkness was over the whole area of Promised Land
for THREE WHOLE HOURS. The 3-hours of darkness
might have functioned to:
(1) baptise all Israelites into darkness/judgment.
(1.a) The temple's veil torn/split was judgment against
the religious leaders. They had a physical event to testify
and confirm a spiritual, eternal truth.
(1.b) All activity was shut down without any distractions.
(2) completely blot out all light thereby pointing to
the Heaven-To-Earth epicenter of His judgment:
this matches the thick-felt-darkness on Egypt before
all of the Pharaoh and his armies were completely
destroyed in water whereas the Ruler of this world
and his followers will be completely destroyed in fire.
(2.a) Job 20:26
All darkness is laid up for his treasures:
a fire not blown shall devour him; it shall
feed upon what is left in his tent.

(2.b) Hebrews 12:29
For also our God [is] a consuming fire.
(3) utilize the thick-felt-darkness as a heavenly
witness to Herod and all of the armies/soldiers,
both Jewish and Roman that they were to quite
literally 'stand-down.' This was a cooling off period
for the rioting crowds, the mob-mentality of
mockers who were shouting at Jesus on the cross.
(3.a) Isaiah 60:2
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
and gross darkness the people: but the LORD
shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be
seen upon thee.

(4) withdrawal of the Holy Spirit from nation of
Israel starting from the Temple and circling ever
wider geography until it was over the entire area
known as Promised Land. I believe the children
of darkness experienced weeping and gnashing
for these 3-hours of heavenly judgment.
(4.a) Matthew 8:12
But the children of the kingdom shall
be cast out into outer darkness: there
shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

(5) communicate to believers in Christ that time
was short and they needed to stay awake, even
though darkness/night had fallen upon the land.

The event on the calendar for Christ's crucifixion
matched the scriptures that promised the Light
of Christ to shine.
(5.a) Zechariah 13:7
Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and
against the man [that is] my fellow, saith the
LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the
sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine
hand upon the little ones.

The concept of becoming 'awake' instead of
staying 'asleep' in darkness at night-time when
the evening's end for the day was promised:
(5.b) Ephesians 5:14
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest
and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give
thee light.

For the believers, the 3-hours of thick-felt-darkness
was a sign of Jonah [THREE DAYS IN BELLY]
they needed to become prepared, to become ready
3-days hence for their expulsion out of the kingdom
of darkness [belly] and go into active, full-time
ministry so as to preach the Word of resurrection.
(5.c) Matthew 10:27
"What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light;
and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim
upon the housetops.

(5.d) John 8:12
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying,
"I am the Light of the world; he who follows
Me will not walk in the darkness, but will
have the Light of life."

(5.e) Colossions 1:13
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:

(6) The time between 3pm and DUSK gave Joseph
of Arimathea to:
(6.1) Go to Ceasar for permission to retrieve the body
(6.2) Wait until Centurion gave Ceasar verification
(6.3) Purchase clean white linen
(6.4) Transport body to hewn-tomb
(6.5) Wrap the body in linen
(6.6) Lay the body in the hewn-tomb
(6.7) Women purchased, prepared spices with
fragrant oils and applied to wrapped-up body
(6.8) They all then rested on the Sabbath (at DUSK)

To Be Made Whole / Later Rather Than Sooner

There are many bible verses that relate to the word, 'save (-d).'
I list just a short sample of 3 verses from the gospel of Matthew:

Mat 10:22 KJV
And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake:
but he that endureth to the end shall be saved [G4982].

Mat 16:25 KJV
For whosoever will save [G4982] his life shall lose it:
and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Mat 24:13 KJV
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall
be saved [G4982].

The Strong's word is G4981 - Sozo (verb) - to save, make whole,
heal, be whole. Strong's definitions include:
1) to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction
1a) one (from injury or peril)
1b) to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from
disease, to make well, heal, restore to health
1c) to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue

2) to save in the technical biblical sense negatively:
2a) to deliver from the penalties of the Messianic judgment
2b) to save from the evils which obstruct the reception of the
Messianic deliverance

I would round out this definition as: to be perfectly complete, entirely
healed (from every destructive thing); to become totally restored.

I find it interesting that such healing, promised rescue from danger,
destruction or suffering was provided to the believer 'unto the end'
and not the first thing on the list of experiences.

I would imagine the confusion, disappointment and sense of heavenly
betrayal for those who have need of such healing from above. It sort
of carries with it an unknowable quality of guesswork, anticipation and
an indeterminate amount of anxiety associated with hiding the scriptures
in our hearts while our lives seem to breakdown under the stressful
pressures of this present day.

When we experience such internalized conflict about our hidden pain,
then we might question ourselves, "Is my faith in vain?" It leads us to
examine ourselves in a non-accepting fashion so as to 'weed-out' or
eliminate some sort of offending part(s) that might be working against
our healing, our rescue or even our salvation.

Sorting out our hearts is always a messy business, at best. The idea
of our blind-spots, acting as 'a log in our eye' that perverts perspectives
of the 'speck-in-their-eye' contrast, can push us to extremes where
we find ourselves self-loathing part(s) of our lives that seem to be
deserving of rejection, hatred, suppression and denial. Perhaps for
some, the unconscious conflicts within our hearts and minds are
wrestling with hidden, invisible things that are yet to be revealed
in the light of the gospel of truth.

Herein I have found a small measure of guarded hope for myself.

I believe that I am not capable of comprehending the extent of my
'unknowable' conflicts within my journey. I hope my faith is not in
vain as I entrust my 'saved' condition unto the One Who Is My
Lord in heaven. Therefore, even though I have not been healed,
not received restoration, not had the experiences of being made
whole, I have placed my trust, my attachment, my whole heart
into the hands of Him who has called me out of darkness into
His marvelous light.

It's my job to entrust myself in long-suffering
yet working out my salvation with all my
strength here in this life; it's His job to both
promise and fulfill His word (hidden in my
heart) that bears fruitful salvation thereby
making me whole, complete, lacking no good
thing. It's the World's job to corrupt, steal,
betray, lie, deny, mock and destroy my
progress as a believer.

Jesus Suffered Anxiety And Fears

Here's a tiny, little insight that has such a huge message.

Hebrews 5:7    KJV
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers
and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that
was able to save [G4982] him from death, and was heard in
that he feared [G2124];

This verse tells us about the suffering before the cross. It
was a part of his days when He lived among us. It does not
say it applied just to the Garden where He gave out great
drops of blood in sweat. It speaks of the time during the
'days of His flesh'

G2124 - Eulabeia (feminine noun) = caution, circumspection,
discretion by avoidance and/or reasonable shunning; reverence,
veneration by reverence toward God, godly fear, piety; fear,
anxiety, dread.

I believe Jesus offered up prayers, strong crying with tears
through out all of his 33 years on the Earth. Even though
He had His Heavenly Father in unique Oneness, that did
not negate His feelings, His emotional well-being and His
own struggles with in what He feared.

What Is Strange?

There are 5 different New Testament (Greek) words for
our English word: "strange" however G3579 is a verb and
G3581 is an adjective from the same base as follows:

(1) G245 - allotrios (äl-lo'-trē-os) = stranger, another man's,
strange, other men's, other, alien
(2) G1854 - exō (e'ks-ō) = without, out, out of, forth, outward,
strange, away
(3) G3579 - xenizō (kse-nē'-zō) = lodge, think it strange,
strange, entertain
(4) G3581 - xenos (kse'-nos) = stranger, strange, host
(5) G3861 - paradoxos (pä-rä'-do-ksos) = strange

BTW: I found it 'strange' that the same Greek word for
both G3579 (verb) and G3581 (adjective) combines the
concept of 'strange' with 'entertain/host.' This needed
looking into, right? I looked at NASB as well as KJV.

1 Peter 4:12 NASB
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal
among you, which comes upon you for your testing,
as though some strange thing were happening to you;

1 Peter 4:12 KJV
Beloved, think it [G3579] not strange [G3579]
concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,
as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Here are the 15 Greeks words from Strong's Lexicon:

G27 - Agapetos (adjective) - beloved, esteemed, favorite, dear(ly)
G3579 - Xenizo (verb) - think it strange, be shocked, to be
surprised or astonish by the strangeness and novelty of a
thing; receive as a guest, to entertain, hospitably, be lodged
or stay as a guest
G3361 - Me - not, not lest, neither (a particle of negation
that denies the thought of the thing according to judgment,
opinion, will, purpose, preference and indirectly, subjectively).
G3579 - Xenizo (verb) - think it strange, be shocked, to be
surprised or astonish by the strangeness and novelty of a
thing; receive as a guest, to entertain, hospitably, be lodged
or stay as a guest
G5213 - Hymin - you, your, yourselves (pronoun of the
second person; expressed for emphasis or when several are
addressed at the same time)
G4451 - Pyrosis - fiery trial; a burning (by which metals
are roasted and reduced by a figure drawn from a refiner's fire);
calamites or trials (that test the elements of one's character).
G1722 - En - which, in, by, with, among, on, through
(local, proper place)
G1096 - Ginomai (verb) - is, to become, happen, to arise,
to be, be made
G4314 - Pros - to the advantage of, towards, with regard
to (move with emphasis)
G3986 - Peirasmos (masculine noun) - an experiment, attempt,
trial, proving (the condition or mental state), temptation
G5213 - Hymin - you, your, yourselves (pronoun of the
second person; expressed for emphasis or when several are
addressed at the same time)
G5613 - Hos (adverb) - as, like, even as, when, how, as it
were, about, according as, in the same manner as
G3581 - Xenos (adjective) - stranger (one who is new,
unheard of), strange (person or thing), host (one receives
and entertains another hospitably), a foreigner (one without
knowledge or share in).
G4819 - Symbaino - happened, befall, so be it; to walk with
the feet near together, to come together, meet with one, of
the things which fall out at the same time, to happen, turn
out, come to pass
G5213 - Hymin - unto you, your, yourselves (pronoun of
the second person; expressed for emphasis or when several
are addressed at the same time)

The phrase: 'Xenizo Me Xenizo' emphasizes the duality of G3579
which implies the negative indirectly or subjectively against one
of the parts of G3579. You might configure it to read:

"Do Not Be Shocked That [It] Stays Lodged To Entertain"

I have written my Marin Transliteration as:
Dearly Beloved, do not be shocked by the strangeness that stays
lodged [among] yourselves as burning calamities which arise to
take advantage of you [who] attempt experiments, how in the
same manner as one hospitably entertains one without knowledge,
when you walk together turning out your feet at the same time?

I find the emphasis of this verse implies that each participant
into the experimental group willingly leaves or forgets whatever
they already knew about such temptations in order to share in
this experience.

In other words, such temptations do not just happen. They are
invited and welcomed into the group with an emphasis how
everybody will get a chance at experimentation in order to
entertain one another which takes advantage of a person.

It's a format designed to conform the group through peer
pressure that stays firmly fixed as a fiery test to see who
will take the challenge together within the group.

This verse is an indictment against those who are 'playing' with
fire by seeking entertainment within a group setting and then
become shocked that life is starting to get really, really strange.

Taking Advantage / Who & What Devours?

Luke 20:47    KJV
Which devour widows' houses, and for a
shew make long prayers: the same shall
receive greater damnation.

There are 13 Greek words from Strong's Lexicon:
G3739 - hos = who, which, what, that, whom, whose, whosoever
G2719 - katesthio = consume by eating, devour, squander, waste
G5503 - chera = widow
G3614 - oikia = inhabited house, dwelling, household, at home
G2532 - kai = and, also, even, both, then, likewise, indeed, but
G4392 - prophasis = pretence, cloke, (for) show, pretext, pretend
G4336 - proseuchomai = to offer prayers, to pray, pray for
G3117 - makros = long lasting; remote, distant, far off; lengthy
G4336 - proseuchomai = to offer prayers, to pray, pray for
G3778 - houtos = this one, he, they; (specifically) present visibly
G2983 - lambano = to take, lay hold of, take/carry away, to seize
G4055 - perissoteros = exceeding over and above, suppassing,
something further, exceedingly abundant, greater, more
G2917 - krima = decree, judgment(s), condemnation (of wrongs),
punishment, sentence as judicial matter decided in court case

Marin's transliteration:
Whosoever squanders widows' inhabited dwellings likewise
pretending to offer long-lasting lengthy prayers [shall] this
one be taken to receive exceedingly greater condemnation.

The verse implies that this consumption is not a quick and
fast event, but a long, slow and methodical process to squander
the scarce resources of widows.

Strong's G2719 - Katesthio (verb) = to consume by eating,
to eat up, devour; i.e., to squander, waste (substance);
forcibly appropriate, to strip one of his goods (to ruin) by
the infliction of injuries; of the consumption of the strength
of body and mind

This form of devouring is specifically pointed directly against those
spiritual leaders who take advantage of their congregation who are
the least, the weakest, and the loneliest, namely elderly widows.

The LORD compared these false-prayers to the fowls of the air
as they both devour the good seed that's fallen into the ground,
or group of believers. Out of 10 verses, there was:
(a) one son who was devouring his father's resources through harlots
(b) One being consumed due to His zeal for His Heavenly Father
(c) believers allowing themselves to be taken advantage of by a man
(d) believers biting and devouring each other one by one

Fowls
Matthew 13:4 - fowls came and devoured
Mark 4:4 - fowls of the air came and devoured
Luke 8:5 - fowls of the air devoured

False-Prayers
Matthew 23:14 - woe to those who devour
Mark 12:40 - which devour widows' houses
Luke 20:47 - which devour widows' houses

Son Devouring Father's Resources
Luke 15:30 - son devoured by living with harlots

Son Consumed For Zeal Of His Heavenly Father
John 2:17 - zeal has eaten me up

Believers Getting Devoured
2 Corinthians 11:20 - if a man devour [you]

Believers Devouring Each Other
Galations 5:15 - if you bite and devour one another

Who and What are These Fowls?
Strong's G4071 - Peteinon (neuter noun) = flying, winged animals,
birds, fowl (of the heaven, of the air).

It's a bit of a guess, but I would view such devouring fowls as
a part of the kingdom of darkness that seek to draw all of Mankind
into waste places where needs are taken advantage of by those in
powerful places.

It Is Not Good Being Alone

Genesis 2:18    KJV
And the LORD God said, [It is] not good
that the man should be alone; I will make
him an help meet for him.

This verse has 10 Hebrew words according to the
Strong's lexicon/condordance. I noticed the word
for 'alone' is Strong's H905.

The funny part that hits me is that the English
for H905 spells out: Bad (masculine noun) = alone,
by itself, besides, a part, separation, being alone,
by itself, only (adv), apart from (prep), part, parts
(eg: limbs, shoots), bars

The KJV translation provides bits of emphasis as
when these English words were used to define H905:
stave, beside, branches, alone, only, strength, apart,
bars, each, except, beside him, like, themselves.
Note: separation, something separated, from the root,
hence: a part, part like to part i.e., in equal portions;
plural specially parts of the body i.e. members;
Job 18:13 & 41:4 ~ of a tree, i.e. branches;
metaphorically: staves, as bearing up used as
staves of the city indicating the princes who
uphold the city;

I get several impressions as I meditate on H905.
This is the LORD's unique way of creating an
emphasis to His Word. It's His doubling or folding
over His meaning by making sure His reader
discovers what is important.

For a Man of God to be alone is bad, real bad. I
perceive how this is especially true for those who
move into a place of leadership. These leaders will
find themselves separated into equal parts and shall
need to bear up as they uphold the rest of their
community. This also is lonely business that does
require the LORD's created help to meet the needs.

We see this over and over again in the OT leaders
such as Moses, Joseph, Samuel, David. They all
needed the help from the LORD to bear up as His
anointed Leaders. Without His Strength, the loneliness
goes from bad to worse quickly.

Congenital Beginnings

The overall arc from the beginning, within the Judeo-Christian faith framework, identifies how all of mankind was subjected to an all encompassing alteration not original to the Maker’s design. However it occurred, we now have a steady state of potential alteration that is primarily congenital to our current condition.

Medically speaking, congenital problems are defined as those issues present at birth. Such potential malformations, deformations or anomalies were inherited from previous generations. Such inherited conditions might become evident or realized due to genetic alterations. The vast untapped potential for these congenital traits to become manifested may or may not depend on external interactions that can trigger a reaction. These potentials, on the other hand, can also remain inactive without manifestation since they can recessively remain dormant.

The lower nature, out of which comes from our corrupted existence, is ever present within each of us and involuntarily opposes or strives against the perfect law of liberty found in His Love. All mankind, therefore, has inherited these congenitally derived lower natures that can manifest itself in a variety of ways.

The fallen or lower nature has been categorized as the sinful flesh. This is where the term ‘sinner’ has been defined of which it is certainly all-inclusive. It is a human condition regarding the very nature of our existence. Pointing to someone else and saying they are sinners is quite literally the kettle calling the pot black. It’s all the same. No one is exempt, nor can anyone avoid the lower nature. It is this state of being that influences all of our potential as we exhibit those unique abilities we have inside of ourselves. We need our lower nature to live, survive and experience life as it is our first-gift given, namely, our life to breathe, to exist in the land of the living.

However, if we wish to find our Maker, then we must redeem ourselves from the corruptible flesh. He has seen from the beginning that we would require His mercy and grace to come before Him with our sin nature.

The Father sent His Son to fully pay forward our redemption by nailing the sin of mankind to the cross of Christ. In this way, those who believe that Christ died for sinners in general, and specifically our own sinfulness, are promised both forgiveness as well as new eternal life to bridge the gap between our lower nature and His Holy Supernatural nature of love, acceptance and forgivenss. In this way, we have received the spirit of His Eternal Life and that makes it possible to fellowship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Therefore, the act of forgiveness, the process of redemption and the goal of salvation was not designed to eliminate the lower nature. Rather, our lower natures were designed to motivate us to seek Him above, to rely in Him for the trust, peace and alignment with all love and goodness that we ourselves can not, by our very nature, supply to ourselves and/or our loved ones. This is how our faith strengthens our families, our relationships and our own steps to walk in His love.
